Untitled Series

 

I find it very difficult to title my works, also because I never read titles myself when I visit Galleries and Museums. I wanted to keep this series of work 'untitlted ' to let myself and the viewer interpret the series the way they like. I also feel the meaning of a work can evolve and change, and 'untitled' gives enough room for that change.

This series started my journey with the pencil in a serious way. Prior to this I was trying my hand at oil painting for a while. A common thread binding this series has been the exploration of the masculinity, gender identity, history and spirituality.
